Merry Christmas eveybody! So, P.E.R.S.O.N.A.L.I.T.I.E.S. today is traveling far away to meet an amazing female writer from Indonesia,Valentina Rini Asih Sasami, who was born identical twins from a mother named Sri Kadarsih and a father named Sopana Djoeliwa, nearly fifty years ago in a small town in Central Java, Weleri. I met Valentina many months ago and we have talked in a quite emothional way. Her contribution to literacy is huge, because she fights with her own way to convince people that poetry is the secret path to human connectivity.
She has published many books and the most amazing thing is her team work spirit. Especially in this pandemic period, she has manage it to select many creative poet’s all over the world and with motivation and inpiration of a winter photo, she has manage to establish a very unique poetry anthology with topic the memories of it. So, this lady is really unique and very very special! I admire her because of her extravagant love to her child. She was blessed with a son for whom it was the most beautiful gift in her life. A child diagnosed with Down Syndrome. She considers that her son is very important to her, she accepts him and loves him with all her heart! She is do happy and proud of him! She wants to show to the whole world that the most beautiful thing is not to be different, but unique.
Her passion for writing has begun when she was a child by earning an award for writing poetry when she was still in junior high school in Samarinda in commemoration of National Solidarity Day. Then, following a local poetry writing competition at various events. However, her hobby seemed meaningless when she entered a public university in her city. The writer who is better known as Rini Valentina was then very busy with lecture activities and her job as a private teacher.
Since childhood, Rini has looked very independent and creative. This could be seen from the way she took a position in various situations including the way she actualized herself. Since she was a teenager, she dreamed of becoming a teacher. But when she got older, she wanted to become a nun. Her humanity and love for God and others made her wanted to fully devoted herself to religious life. But her plans and goals were different from God’s plans. God wanted Rini to love Him in His way.
The hidden talent came out like an unstoppable waterfall. She started writing again at the end of 2017. One thing that makes her different from other writers is that Rini has the courage to write in three languages, English, Spanish and Indonesian. She is even able to write as well as an editor for her writing and publish it in various publishers like Amazon, Deepublish and Farha.
Her persistence and hard work paid off with many world awards. In early 2020, she received a high literary award as a foreign writer who published a book in Spanish by Agencia De Prensa Internacional Apreint, Spain. Followed by her is appointed as an Ambassadeurs De La Paix for Indonesia by Cercle Universel des Ambassadeurs De La Paix, France / Switzerland.
An international electronic magazine Grihaswamini declared her as a Global Ambassador for Indonesia and in November 2020, the UHE officially appointed her as President of the National De La Union Hispanomundial De Esritores for Indonesia 2020-2022.
An international journal in India, INNSAEI asked her to be an editor for short stories. Her hard work and creativity can be seen in the following books that she has published independently:

As a novice writer and still new in the world literature, Rini has the courage to publish nearly seven international anthology books. She never said she was afraid and would back down with the pressure and competition. Never…
Beside writing for her own books, Rini is also still very active writing in various electronic magazines in the world as well as various international events and anthologies. A book entitled My Heart is in Poetry Dream of You has been translated into Serbian by the Serbian writer, Professor Milutin Djurckovic “SAN U POEZIJI.
Beside actively writing poetry, editing her books, publishing them herself, she has also translated various poems and story books in three languanges.

Why do you think poetry is absolutely necessary in our days?
Poetry is the language of the heart and the form of a dream. Many of us sometimes find it difficult to express it verbally. But with poetry we feel free to express without shame and afraid.
What is the best award that you have get because of poetry…here I want you to explain me about the people you have met in this journey and all the culture exchange?
I got awards from:
- UHE (Union Hispanomundial de Escritores), Non-profit cultural organization that brings together poets, writers, singers, dancers, plastic artists, sculptors, social activists, cultural managers, etc. Working for culture and peace with social justice in the world. It is stated in Peru South America. UHE appointed her as a President Nacional for lndonesia periods 2020-2022.
- Cercle Universel de La Paix Suisse/France is a harmonious civilization as a society of the harmonious stefa conscious classes of the population on our planet. The Universal Ambassadors Peace Circle was born the 3 August 2004 on Ambilly France in Official Newspaper of 28 August 2004 n ° 1019 With for goals: make a Universal Peace link between the actors, peace craftsmen & International Peace Family on the International plan. The Universal Peace Embassy was born a year later, 14 October 2005 has Ambilly France in official newspaper France of 5 November 2005 n ° 1085 in order to be the coordination point of the Peace Ambassadors of our Organization; non-profit and independent organization Geneva (Switzerland) is the common International secretariat of the 2 organizations. “All those working for Peace are main a same Spirit, a same Soul, a same Heart, a same Body, a same Universal Family” (Jean-Paul Nouchi President Founder +) in All Universal Brotherhood of Peace. She appointed to be the Ambassadeurs de la paix. The electronic magazine GRIHASWAMINI stated in India appointed me to be the ambassador global for lndonesia.
- I got many Diplomas from Radio America Vision, Chile.
lf you would be a prime ministry of your country what would you have change to the culture ministry?
If I was be a prime minister in my country, I will fight for the hard work of writers, especially literature writers, to have a proper life, of course, by facilitating them with foreign language courses. Because if writers have the ability to speak foreign languages, it will be easy for them to beautify the country with world orations in literature.
What is your favourite local poem? I want you to give a poem written in your language and translated in English ?
Honestly l don’t have any favourite writer. I love writing poetry and short story. l will share my favourite poem here :

Awan bertanya pada rembulan
Mengapa bintang jauh ?
Tak pernah mau turun !
Nimbrung ….
Atau sejenak tertawa bersama
Merilis bahagia
Melukis cerita
Melupakan saja cubitan sakit
Melupakan saja sukma yang dilalui langkah narendra

How poetry can convince humanity to have hope and keep on dreaming?
It’s very simple actually, that is to write poetry that is full of the language of love without seeing the millions of different colours of the rainbow. If the poetry we write is full of messages of love, it will influence other people to live in hopes and dreams. Never write anything that could offend others, or write about resentment. Write poetry with love so those who feel excluded will feel appreciated and loved.
